From The Friday five :1. What's the last vivid dream that you remember having? That I was eating a chicken soft taco from taco bell.
2. Do you have any recurring dreams? Sometimes
3. What's the scariest nightmare you've ever had? That I went to see the movie Spice World
4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not? No,don't care too.
5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it? No??

For those of you who don't know,Birds of Prey,A well done DC comic was recently picked up as a series on the WB network for its fall 2003 schedule. It looks OK, except for the fact that Black Canary is a bit young. But Mark Hamill is gonna voice the Joker in the Oracle origin episode and Huntress has a shrink. A shrink that goes by the name of Dr. Harleen Qunizell. Hmm..

I don't know how to put this lightly,so i'll just say it.Episode 2 fucking rocked!!!!!!
It rocked on a few points which I will illustrate here :
-Story. It felt as though there actually was one, which I thought was damn good.
-Effects. Done superbly and right.
-Natalie Portman in a belly shirt. Nuff said.
-Don't screw with Yoda.

Alert! FaNBoY is extremely giddy for reason's I will not go into right now! Heheheheheee!!!!
OK...calm down for a sec...heh...review time!
Impulse 86= Not bad,not bad at all .Don't cancel this title DC!
Green Lantern 150= Excellent read. I really like the new direction that that they're heading in. Kyle's new outfit is pretty kickin' too, very "Hal - esque".
Batgirl 28= Interesting...Spoiler said she's leaving for a while, which is good, because I think she belongs in Robin, not Batgirl.
Nightwing 69= Continues the "Bruce Wayne:Fugitive" storyline, and offers up another clue. Whoever crawled into the cave was someone who did it through a very small opening, so small,Dick almost couldn't fit through...could it be someone who has "?"'s on his outfits?
Spy Boy-Young Justice 3= Eh...haven't read it through yet, so..i'm not sure. I don't like what they did with Todd's art on one page and Pop's on the next. Pick an artist and stick with it.
A few more tidbits. I'm very giddy right now. Superman sucked this week,so I didn't get it. Looks like I got my Episode 2 tickets. Oh,and Third Watch got picked up. Yay.

Spidey movie must be pretty good if it makes 114$ mill on it's first weekend. Maybe I should see it. Or maybe I should call the movie theater and get advance tickets for Episode 2. Third Watch was good again, very moving. Kinda sucks that the season's almost over. Can't wait till the new seasons starts though.

I am one happy geek. I got to work at Hanley's yesterday! Sure it was one day, but it could lead to more, who knows. All I know is I am one happy geek. Free comic day rocked. I can safely say that this was the busiest I've ever seen Hanley's. There must have been at least 25 people waiting before it even opened.

Comic review type thingie time!
1]Superman 182- Excellent. Lois was supposed to kill one story as part of an agreement with her an Luthor to give the Daily Planet back to the public. Turns out he wanted her to kill the story that proves Luthor could have prevented the "Our Worlds At War" casualties, including her fathers. Also turns out one of Lois's sources is Luthors bodyguard Hope. So Luthor tells Lois to kill the story, which she sort of does. She gives it to Clark,a nd Clark prints it, and it looks like Luthor is gonna be out of the white house preeeety soon.
2]Young Justice 45- Not a bad way to end a crossover, making Impulse super powerful could be good and give one last chance at saving his book .The alternate reality thing was so-so story wise ,more good then bad ,but still left something lacking. Todd's art though, was once again top notch.
3]Detective 770- Didn't really get a chance to finish this, but from what I read so far it's an OK read ,I want see more info on the"Bruce Wayne:fugitive"story, which is supposed to wrap up later this year.
4]Deadline 2- You know, for a Marvel book...not that bad. Interior art is hit and miss, but cover art rules. Story is getting a little better.
Also- Looks like i'm gonna be seeing the Spidey movie this weekend .It's getting hyped big time, which can be good and bad. If it turns out to be a dud, it's bad for the industry, but it's getting good advance press so far.Not to mention about 20 something specials on TV. Which is where I end with tonights quote:
"Did Tobey eat a lot of flies in front of you?"-David Letterman's question to Spider-man actress Kirsten Dunst on what it was like working with Tobey Maguire
